Payment Policy

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Google Pay

All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase.

We do not offer cash on delivery or post-payment arrangements.

Orders will not be processed, reserved, or dispatched until full cleared payment has been received.

2. Payment Authorisation & Verification

By submitting payment information, you:

• Confirm you are authorised to use the selected payment method
• Confirm the billing information provided is accurate
• Authorise us to charge the full order amount

All transactions may be subject to:

• Fraud analysis screening
• 3D Secure authentication
• Identity verification checks
• Manual review for high-risk indicators

We reserve the right to:

• Request additional verification documentation
• Delay processing while verification is conducted
• Refuse or cancel transactions suspected of fraud

Failure to provide requested verification may result in order cancellation.

3. Fraud Prevention & Chargebacks

Gull Australia actively monitors transactions for suspicious activity.

We reserve the right to:

• Cancel orders suspected of unauthorised payment use
• Refuse shipment to high-risk addresses
• Block repeat fraudulent accounts
• Report suspected fraud to relevant authorities

If a chargeback is initiated:

• We reserve the right to dispute the chargeback
• Evidence including IP address, order confirmation, delivery confirmation, and communication records may be submitted to the issuing bank
• Accounts associated with fraudulent chargebacks may be permanently restricted

Unauthorised chargebacks may be pursued through legal recovery processes where permitted by law.

4. Currency & International Transactions

All payments are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated at checkout.

If your card is issued outside Australia:

• Your financial institution may apply exchange rates
• International transaction fees may apply
• Additional processing charges may be imposed

These charges are determined solely by your bank or payment provider.

Gull Australia does not control, receive, or assume liability for such charges.

5. GST (Goods and Services Tax)

Where applicable, prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST) in accordance with Australian taxation law.

A tax invoice can be provided upon request.

If GST registration requirements change, we reserve the right to adjust pricing accordingly.

6. Pre‑Orders

If purchasing a pre-order item:

• Full payment is required at checkout
• Estimated dispatch dates are indicative only
• Delays may occur due to supplier or logistics factors

If a pre-order cannot be fulfilled, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

7. Coupon Codes & Store Credit

Coupon codes:

• Must be entered at checkout and applied before payment
• Are subject to expiry dates and eligibility conditions
• May be limited to one use per account
• Cannot be combined unless explicitly stated

We reserve the right to:

• Cancel improperly applied discounts
• Revoke coupon codes issued in error
• Refuse promotional abuse or manipulation

Store credit:

• May have an expiry date
• Is non-transferable
• Cannot be redeemed for cash

8. Payment Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including:

• SSL encryption
• Encrypted payment processing
• Secure Shopify infrastructure
• Limited internal access controls

We do not store full credit card numbers.

While we take reasonable steps to protect data, no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Anti‑Money Laundering & Illegal Activity

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse transactions suspected of money laundering
• Refuse bulk purchasing inconsistent with normal consumer use
• Report unlawful activity to relevant authorities

Transactions that violate Australian law may be cancelled without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Gull Australia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from payment processing
• Our total liability in relation to any payment dispute is limited to the original transaction amount

Nothing in this policy excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Payment Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication.
